On August 17th, 2024, Natalie and DeShaum Eddins hosted a wedding that was equal parts timeless elegance and unforgettable energy. Set in the heart of Fort Wayne, their celebration was a true transformation - one that brought together elevated design, intentional details, and a seamless guest experience. For this wedding, Wonder Event Co. had the honor of providing both day-of coordination and full-custom floral design, ensuring every moment was not only beautiful, but expertly executed.

Transforming a Blank Canvas into Something Extraordinary

The Bergstaff Event Center offered the perfect foundation for Natalie and DeShaum’s vision—an open, expansive ballroom ready to be completely reimagined. Through a refined, monochromatic floral palette of stark whites and soft textures, we created a space that felt clean, classic, and undeniably elegant. Each guest table featured thoughtfully designed arrangements that complemented the room without overwhelming it—proving that simplicity, when done well, is the ultimate luxury.

The Details That Defined the Experience

Natalie and DeShaum’s wedding was filled with personal, memorable touches that elevated the guest experience from the moment they arrived.

Why Day-Of Coordination Matters

Behind the scenes is where the real magic happens—and this day was a perfect example of why having a dedicated coordinator is invaluable. Just before the ceremony, Natalie found herself tucked away in a small holding room as guests began to arrive… and in a moment that was both very real and very human - she needed to step away. Without hesitation, our team pivoted!! We adjusted timelines, rerouted movement, and handled the situation seamlessly - ensuring the bride felt taken care of and the guest experience remained uninterrupted. This is the role of a day-of coordinator: to anticipate, adapt, and execute - so our couples never have to carry the weight of the moment.

Once the ceremony concluded, the energy shifted in the best way. Natalie and DeShaum quickly became the heartbeat of the reception - bringing life to a dance floor that didn’t stay empty for long. The room, once a blank canvas, was now filled with movement, laughter, and celebration.
